🤖 EU AI Act (2024/1689) — Compliance Statement

Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (AI Act) is the world's first comprehensive legal framework for AI. SKOVELA d.o.o. confirms the alignment of its AI systems with the Regulation and its commitment to responsible AI use in business.

1. How SKOVELA uses artificial intelligence

SKOVELA uses AI as a tool for: (a) the AI2AI platform — machine, process and document information for customers; (b) drafting offers, contracts and other documents; (c) helping customers choose machines, materials and services; (d) component calculations (30 recipes, up to 50 part codes, RAL colours). AI does not make decisions on its own — a human always gives final approval.

2. Risk classification

Our systems fall into the minimal-to-limited risk category (information and documentation tools in B2B operations). We do not operate high-risk systems under Annex III nor general-purpose systems under Annex I. Nevertheless, we implement transparency and human oversight requirements.

3. Prohibited practices (Art. 5) — never used and never will

SKOVELA does not use: social scoring, manipulative techniques, exploitation of vulnerable groups, untargeted facial scraping, emotion recognition in the workplace, predictive policing based on profiling.

4. Transparency (Art. 50)

Users are informed when they interact with artificial intelligence (chat assistants are labelled). Synthetic or AI-generated content is labelled. Customers can always request human contact.

5. Human oversight

All business decisions (offers, prices, contracts, deviations) are reviewed and approved by a responsible person at SKOVELA. AI drafts — the human decides. We are trained to monitor, interpret and stop AI systems.

6. Data and GDPR

AI systems process exclusively business data (orders, specifications, public company data) in accordance with GDPR (EU 2016/679). Data is not sold to third parties. Processing enables deletion, correction and portability of data.

7. Regulation timeline

In force: 1.8.2024 · prohibited practices: 2.2.2025 · GPAI obligations: 2.8.2025 · most provisions (incl. Annex III): 2.8.2026 · high-risk Annex I systems: 2.8.2027.
